Happy Birthday Eric!!!

I PULLED IT OFF!! I am so excited that I pulled it off. We had a surprise bithday party for Eric on Saturday. It was so much fun but I am glad it is over I was getting so nervous. We had about 40 people here and I think a good time was had by all. It was very exciting to have Eric so surprised and happy, He really deserves it! Thanks to all that helped and kept the secret for so long. Well on another note, we areworking with a lady to help with Kaylee's tantrums and different ways of discipline for her. We met with her yesterday and it went very well. We have 3 keys points to look at, Giving choices for things, Not giving in and staying firm on what we say, and keeping the time out to a more restricted area like a chair with arms. Basically Eric and I are the ones being trained and then if we stick to our guns then she will learn to respect us and have more fun then always batteling. So far it is working. We know it is going to get worse before it gets better but we are willing to do it. Mya has the teacher comming out tomorrow to go over what Mya's results were but we do know that she will be recieving some services to help her catch up with her Large motor skills (sitting up,crawling, ect.). She is growing so fast. She had her first McDonalds french frie today and loved it. She still does not have any teeth but she is really good at gumming everything up. I have registered myself for a yoga class and I am going to start walking at our community center while Kaylee is at school. Things are going well here at the Moreau house. Angie Posted by Picasa

Busy Week

Well this week will be a busy one. Today we are playing catch up with house work. Tonight we have gymnastics, Kaylee is still loving it. We have someone coming tomorrow to check on Mya with her gross motor skills. Mya is a very very mellow baby and is a little behind on rolling over, sitting up and crawling. I personally think that she is just fine and that why try to go get anything when Kaylee gives her everything and is her entertainment. We will see what they have to say. During Christmas time we started to have some major tantrums with Kaylee. Somedays they would last 2-3 hours long. We thought it was just cause of the holiday season. Now a few months later she is starting back into it. So on Wednesday we will be having someone come talk to me about different ways to deal with tantrums, sleeping in her own bed, and night time potty training. Eric's family are coming up from Iowa for Eric's birthday this weekend so they will be here Thursday night. So it is going to be a busy week for us. I will check in about Mya and Kaylee when we know more. Angie

These are the Days of the Moreau's

So Kaylee decided to paint herself. She painted a necklace, nail polish and make up like mommy does. Needless to say I was laughing so hard it was really hard to tell her that she can't do that. After getting her in the tub and I stopped laughing we had a talk about why paint is only for paper and not for our face. Eric was feeding Mya when she fell asleep. He managed to get the camera out and snap a shot. She slept really good that night and didn't even wake up when he put her in her bed. Kaylee and I spent 45 minutes in the Emergency room on Super bowl Sunday. Kaylee was climbing around on Eric's weight bench and swinging on it when she fell off and split her ear open. The ER doctor just glued it back to gether again. I think she learned her lesson on that. She is her father's daughter. Climbing on everything and getting hurt all the time. Well that is about it for now. I will post again soon. Angie
