Busy weekend

It has been a busy week and weekend. The girls and I went to watch Eric on pool league Wednesday night and had dinner. It was great to see the rest of the crew. Thursday night I went to my official first day of work and had a really good time. The people are great and it is fun to be there. The time goes by so fast. Friday night Eric's friend Greg came down and we had a bomb fire and a few beers. It was a little cold but we survived. Saturday I went to work all day and could not believe that I was there for 7 hours the time just flew by. Eric was home with the kids trying to get a few things done in the basement. Mary came and got the girls for a little bit so Eric could get a few things done with no kids. Saturday night we had a Halloween party at the neighbors house with the girls and had a fun time. They even had a little hay ride for the kids behind a 4 wheeler. Kaylee had so much fun playing with the other kids. She cried when we had to leave. Sunday Eric painted the spare bedroom again and did some touch up mudding of some holes. I made curtains for the basement, muded some holes upstairs from some curtains and re-hung my curtain rods so they are more secure. We have been really busy the girls have been great. I will post new pictures soon.

I have started my new job at Old navy and had a really fun first day of training. My first day along will be tomorrow night and I am really looking forward to it. I can't wait to see all the new things that come in. Right now I am getting a few days a weeks but I am thinking that it will pick up for the the holidays ( since I am a seasonal employee for right now). We had my step brothers going away party last Saturday and had a great time. He is moving back to Florida. Sad to see him and his family go but also know that it will be better for them. We had a few issues with the basement project but I think we are on the home stretch. All that is left is baseboard trim, touch up paint, and then getting everything put away. Eric is already planning a superbowl party and I am planning Thanksgiving here with Eric's family so We have a few weeks to finish. Mya is getting so big. We are doing pretty good with baby food and I have stopped nursing. I was having trouble getting enough for her so we decided to stop. She is doing just fine on formula. Kaylee has been busy with school and gymnastics. I am still babysitting the boys a couple times a week and love having them here. It is so nice to have a playmate for Kaylee and keeps my day busy. Eric will be getting busy at work with a few projects coming up. That is about it for now.

The last few weeks

WOW, it has been a busy few weeks. Kaylee had so much fun going to the Eagle Lake Fire Dept. open house. She even got to ride on a fire truck. We are still busy working on the basement. We had a little leak in one of the pipes that has set us back a bit but now we are back on track. My sister came home for my grandma's 85th birthday party the first weekend in Oct. we had a great time and it was awesome to see Katie again. The girls enjoyed see her. This past weekend we had a wedding. Kaylee and dad danced the night away. Kaylee is like the energizer bunny when it comes to dancing. Sunday we went up to my dad's and carved pumpkins fun was had by all. Kaylee started her second session of gymnastics. It is going great she is really learning about taking direction and being patient. I got the job at old navy and will be starting on the 22nd. I am looking forward to bringing in a little christmas money. Eric is busy working and will be starting pool league soon. Well that is about it for now. Posted by Picasa

Fun Saturday

Wow what a busy week. Mary and I spent all day Monday and Tuesday staining and putting poly on the doors for the basement. Eric will be working on the basement all this week. We are hoping to finish. Keep your fingers crossed that we can get it done. Wednesday night Eric had softball, one more week and it will be done then Pool league starts. Kaylee has been having so much fun at school and it has been great to spend a little alone time with Mya. Thursday Kaylee got dropped off from school at Mary's house since I went over for a job interview at Old Navy. I am looking at trying to find a part time job just to see adults and get out of the house a little bit. I have a second interview on Thursday. Friday night we went over to friends house Chad and Kristie, they have a little girl 2 1/2 and a little boy 5 1/2 months. It is nice to have the kids around the same age. Eric decided he wanted to try duck hunting so the boys got him all set up. Eric was off Saturday morning at 4:15 am too early for me to even notice. He got a duck on his first try but still is trying how to hold the gun tight. He has a few bruises from the gun back kicking on him. After he got back the we all went up to Emma Krumbees to ride the ponies and see the scarecrow. We had so much fun. Then we raced back to Eric's end of the season softball party. We got back early so that Eric could get some sleep before going duck hunting again. Eric is off and the girls and I are just getting ready to go to the Eagle lake fire dept open house. Kaylee is so excited to see Uncle Clete and his fire truck. That is it for now. Angie
