Happy Valentines Day and Random Pics

January - February

January was a busy month. Kaylee had her assessment done and we are now working with OT once a week at Pediatric Therapy. She seems to be responding well to the therapies. Mya is still busy with school. She goes 4 half days a week. The girls, my mom and I went to see Sesame Street Live in January. We had so much fun! Ethan turned 1 on the 13th of January. I can't believe how fast this year has gone. Ethan is walking around furniture but not quite yet on his won. We had a big 1st Birthday party for Ethan. He was in such a great mood. He loved to destroy his cake. Ethan has been battling ear infections this past winter and also last year. We had surgery on February 3rd to have tubes put in the hopefully help. Eric has enjoyed fishing a few times this year and also taking the girls once in a while too. Eric will be going to Florida for a golfing charity event for SMA with his brother Jay. He will be gone for 5 days. I wonder what the kids and I will do? Mya has had a busy month also. February we went back to the dermatologist for her yearly check up and decided to take her to an allergist. Mya is allergic to tomatoes and garlic, crazy but that is were we are at. Since Mya has had mild swelling reaction the allergist put her on an epi pen in case she has a life threatening reaction. We had Mya and Kaylee's conferences a couple weeks ago and both are doing great. Mya will be attending the same special ed preschool next year but going in the afternoon. It is nice that Mya's preschool is at the elementary school, so when she goes to kindergarten she will already know the school. It is also nice to know that Kaylee is there with her. Eric's birthday is Wednesday the 17th; he will have a nice long trip in Florida for it.

October - December 2009

We had a great end to October. The kids loved Halloween. Kaylee was Hermine from Harry Potter, Mya was Dora and Ethan was a lion. We kept with our tradition ordering pizza and then heading out trick and treating.

Eric and I are still busy with our jobs. I resigned from my position at Harry Meyering Center in November. I enrolled a few more full time kids in daycare which extended my hours, it was too much for the family and me to be working so much. Eric received a promotion in December at work. We are so proud of him! He is so good at his job!

Kaylee has been doing great in school. She loves her teacher and is excited about music and art. Kaylee started to have trouble again with her clothes irritating her and other things bothering her. We decided to have a sensory assessment done, that will be in January sometime.

Mya really loves school. She loves to ride the big yellow bus every day it makes her feel just like Kaylee. Her preschool is actually at Kaylee's school.Mya had her friend Jace in the same class as her and they are two peas in a pod. We stopped tumbling tots for the summer but plan to go back after the snow. Mya has a new obsession with ducks and kitties. She asked daddy for a kitty for Christmas but no luck this year. Maybe we can keep working on him!

Ethan has been a little mover. He started crawling at Thanksgiving. It didn't take him Lion to figure out how to take off. Now with him on the move he is really showing his boy side Destructive! Ethan has 4 teeth and more coming.

Christmas was a great time. Loved to spend all the time with family. Ethan was a little scared of Santa along with Mya but not Kaylee she was all about it. We also went to the Children's museum with Eric's family for the first time. There was so much to do and they kids had so much fun. They also had a room just for Ethan's size.

On to the New year! Angie
